As a new southern history museum taking shape in the Chattanooga area, we’re building something meant to be one of the top things to do in Chattanooga, Tennessee once our doors open.
Our Mission
We believe transportation history isn’t dusty — it’s the thread connecting Cherokee trade routes to Civil War rail lines to the interstate you drove in on. Our mission is to bridge generations through immersive storytelling, so a grandparent and a grandchild can stand in front of the same exhibit and both walk away changed.
Why Here
Chattanooga sits at the crossroads of I-75, I-24, and I-59 — one of the busiest family-tourism corridors in the country, and a region already home to the Tennessee Aquarium, Ruby Falls, Rock City, and the battlefields at Chickamauga. We’re proud to be the newest stop on the map, and an easy addition to any day trip from Atlanta, Nashville, or Knoxville.
The Legacy Lives On!
We have officially acquired the world-record-holding, 25,000 square-foot G-scale masterpiece from Ohio’s famous EnterTRAINment Junction. But we aren’t just rebuilding this legendary display — we’re expanding it!
Enhanced with cutting-edge technology and immersive interactive, this reimagined experience honors its famous roots while redefining the boundaries of miniature storytelling.
Our Layouts
Every train runs on batter power — onboard receivers, no track wiring, and extruded polycarbonate rail that never needs cleaning, the whole railroad conducted from a single laptop.
