Opening Fall 2027

The Motion Museum is targeting a Fall 2027 opening. Hours, ticket pricing, and accessibility details will be published here as construction nears completion. Once we’re open, we’re designed to be a go-to spot for indoor activities in Chattanooga and one of the best rainy day activities near you when the weather doesn’t cooperate — 80,000 square feet, entirely under one roof.

Accessibility:

In the meantime:

The Motion Museum is being designed from the ground up for accessible visits — ADA-compliant circulation, sensory-friendly options, and multi-language signage are part of the plan from day one. Full details will post here closer to opening.

Bring a Group

School trips, scout troops, and bus tours — let’s plan ahead.

We’re building an education and group-visit program alongside the museum itself, including STEAM-aligned field trip curriculum and group rates. Between our operating model-train layouts and full-scale vehicle displays, the museum is shaping up as a natural home for STEM activities for kids and hands-on kids museum activities that tie directly into classroom learning.
